    The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose:  To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. 

     

    This position is a key member of The Navigators Digital Marketing team and will help raise funds for the organization, as well as engage donors and ministry members through the various digital marketing channels. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Digital Campaigns – Develop, implement, track and optimize in-house Digital Marketing campaigns across all Digital Marketing channels.
    • Copywriting/Editing – Write, edit and curate/coordinate Digital Marketing copy for website, landing pages, emails, advertising and supporting print materials.
    • Web Content & Landing Pages – Manage designated sections of the organization’s website and various landing pages/microsites, including content planning and development/coordination, content/page/site implementation, SEO, testing and optimization, reporting and analysis, etc.
    • Ministry Fundraiser Pages – Manage field ministry fundraiser pages, including editing and approving fundraiser submissions, auditing and managing existing fundraisers, design and promotion of new fundraising campaigns, field staff support, reporting and analysis, etc.
    • Email Marketing – Manage email marketing, including content planning and development, email implementation and scheduling, subscriber/data management, list segmentation, testing and optimization, reporting and analysis, list growth and subscriber retention, automation, etc.
    • Facebook Advertising – Create, implement and manage Facebook Ads for in-house Digital Marketing campaigns, and moderate and engage with user comments/messages.
    • Graphic Design/Editing – Design, curate/coordinate and edit graphics for websites and landing pages, marketing emails, advertising and supporting print materials.
    • Testing & Optimization – Plan, execute, measure and optimize Digital Marketing experiments and conversion tests to improve key metrics and optimize user experience.
    • Analytics & Reporting – Measure and report performance of Digital Marketing campaigns and tactics, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
    • Project Management – Coordinate multiple projects at once, collaborating with stakeholders across the ministry.
    • Collaboration – Collaborate with other Digital Marketing team members, ministry and administrative departments, marketing agencies/vendors, and freelancers.
    • Ongoing Professional Development – Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments, trends in digital marketing, and industry best practices.
    • Additional job-related duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
    • 3 years of proven work experience in digital marketing and a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies.
    • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all marketing decisions.
    • Strong experience creating and managing landing pages, marketing emails and Facebook ads.
    • Highly creative with strong marketing copywriting skills and experience designing or editing graphics.
    • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and optimizing digital marketing content/components based on test results.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with solid knowledge of web analytics tools.
    • Familiarity with organizational fundraising.
    • Ability to collaborate efficiently and effectively with multiple team members.
    • Great attention to detail and project management skills, including balancing multiple projects at the same time and meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to travel for meetings and conferences 2-4 times a year.
    • Bonus experience and skills include: Navigators or similar ministry background, fundraising experience, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Acrobat), SEO/SEM, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Excel, business intelligence/data reporting, JavaScript, UI/UX design
