    Part-time position


    The Group Day Event Coordinator shall serve the Glen Eyrie Group (GEG) and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.


    This position will develop new day event customer relationships in Colorado and in surrounding regional states.  Continue to build deeper and stronger relationships with existing client base as well as promoting Glen Eyrie overnight conferences and retreats.


    • Respond to all phone calls, email leads and Conference RFP’s within a minimum of 24 hours.
    • Day Event business that is booked must adhere to the current Standard Operating Procedures before booking the event. Deviations must be approved by Director of Sales and Event Planning and or Director of Conference Sales.
    • Group business bookings must be booked in 60 days or less.
    • Groups requesting booking within 60 days will adhere to the SOP and the minimums. Confirmed reservations will be contracted and monitored by the Day Event Coordinator.  Guaranteed Day Events will be pre planned, and welcomed by the Day Event Coordinator or Event Planner.
    • Group wanting to book within a week, must be approved by all operations teams and SOPs before the event can be booked and contracted by Day Event Coordinator. Confirmed reservations will be pre planned, and welcomed by the Day Event Coordinator or Event Planner.
    • Groups requesting bookings outside of 60 days will be approved by the Director of Sales, and booked by Day Events Coordinator. Approved Day events will complete a Daily Business Review. Ad Min or Day Event Coordinator will send contract to the client.  Guaranteed Day Event contracts will be turned over to an Event Planner.
    • Sales Business Review form must be completed and turned in to the Administration Assistant to build the Sales Day contracts built. Final contract will be sent to Day Event Coordinator for final draft review and sending to client.
    • Provide all signed contracts, with deposit and tax exempt status forms to the Event Planning Team.
    • Meet or exceed annual sales revenue goal. *See combination of closed business or qualified pending opportunities to meet monthly revenue goals.
    • Create and build a master account client list with the Director of Sales and update client list quarterly Action Plan.
    • Create, build and execute a quarterly sales Action Plan approved by the Director of Sales.
    • Develop and implement a regional ministry business plan for assigned territories and markets.
    • Accurately track sales activity through the sales funnel/pipeline and SMART plans: sales appointments, sales calls, prospecting calls, maintenance calls, networking and site tours (daily, weekly, and monthly).
    • Tracker – Accurately track all sales activity/daily. (sales appointments, qualified leads, contracts sent and contracts signed) in Action Plan.
    • Sales appointments – Accurately track weekly sales appointments with a minimum of 6 qualified appointments per week. Report all sales appointment your Action Plan.
    • Community networking and involvement to build client and account relationships, and increased sales revenue.
    • Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned

    • Minimum 2-3 years Outside Sales Experience
    • Strong presentation and communication skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • Has a sincere and mature walk with Christ
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheets
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills
