This position is part-time 10+ hours per week. Navigator experience strongly preferred.

 

The Administrative Assistant I shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose:  To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. 

 

This position performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Director of the Strategic Initiatives Office, including the management of Excel spreadsheets, scheduling meetings and video calls, hosting meetings and other general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain Funding Innovation tracking spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist in scheduling video calls for the SIO Director.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings for the SIO Director.
  • Host 3-4 meetings per year at Navigators Headquarters.
  • Submit expense reports in Workday
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
  • Assisting with making travel arrangements for SIO Director.

Qualifications

  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • Navigator experience strongly preferred, including a background in fundraising.
  • Familiarity with Workday preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
  • Strong Communication skills - written and verbal.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
