This position is located in Oklahoma City.

 

The Administrative Assistant 1 shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose:  To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. 

 

This position performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the missions and/or the NavCity and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing and executing the annual Fall Discipleship Conference
  • Create artwork for flyers, invitations, social media, and conferences
  • Create and maintain a social media marketing campaign across multiple platforms
  • Create and submit expense reports for Nav20s
  • Update and maintain member databases for Nav20s and Fall Discipleship Conference
  • Push information and photos to websites and apps
  • Hold regular hours, Monday, Tuesday, Friday mornings or some variation that would make her accessible to directors on a regular weekly basis.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
  • Prepare written responses to routine enquiries
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules
  • Maintain office supply inventories
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment

Qualifications

  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
